After being in the front line of the travel industry in Picton/Blenheim including Interislander, Fast Cat Ferries, Blue Bridge Strait Shipping and also Air New Zealand Groups – I moved back to the North Island (originally from Tauranga).
After 5 years in the retail travel industry with various Holiday Shoppe’s, now re-branded to Harvey World Travel, I was suddenly made redundant.
I took the opportunity to take a break from the industry knowing that an opportunity of some sort would come along and I would know when it was time to come back. 5 months later along came NZ Travelbrokers which was the opportunity I was waiting for. I am really excited about taking on the broking concept and especially facing the new challenges it will throw my way….bring it on I say!
Married for 8 years, my husband Bryce is General Manager of Gourmet Foods Ltd where they produce and distribute nationally, Pats Pantry and Ponsonby Pies, while producing cakes and slices as well. I have 2 wonderful children, Tanasia (18), and James (19) They will both be tackling Polytech next year - Tanasia to study Diploma of business and James computing level 3 with a view to programming and IT.
I am heavily involved in the sport of Marching and are currently in a senior team based in Rotorua as well as roles on the committee. I have been in marching since I was 13 years old, so you could say it can be addictive, but I love the discipline, the friendships gained and the local travel to compete against other senior teams.Locations
